The Alburys Charitable Foundation (TACF) has been established by Malcolm and Gail Paterson to fulfil their wishes to formalise and expand their charitable giving over the remainder of their lives.
Those wishes of the founders are dominated by their desire to help disadvantaged children, to support young artists who are developing careers in musical theatre, and to support organisations involved in animal welfare, and to make occasional donations to help the aid effort when international emergencies arise.
The Alburys Charitable Foundation is a small charity and, generally speaking, we only make grants to other small charities whose activities align with our objectives as described above. Also, we apply a geographical limit to our area of operation so that we, as trustees, can engage personally with the charities we support. We describe that geographical limit as “some of south London plus some parts of Surrey and Kent”. In practice, that translates to supporting other small charities based in or near to Croydon, Dartford or the Medway Towns. Please be aware that we are unlikely to consider making a grant to any charity outside that area.
If the cause you represent or are supporting fulfils the above criteria, TACF will consider your request for a grant. Please contact us initially by emailing Malcolm or Gail on:

Or, by writing to Malcolm at: The Alburys Charitable Foundation, Foxlease, Upper Court Road, Woldingham, Caterham, CR3 7BF.
